You can get the Farm Centers + Activities Pack here.

1. Carrot Alphabet Hunt – Old MacDonald had a farm, and he was picking carrots. The farmer needs some help to find the carrots with the letters he’s looking for. This includes 26 pages of a carrot alphabet hunt.

2. Count and match the chicken eggs – The chickens are laying eggs. Count the eggs on the ten frames and place them on the matching card. You can add the ten frames to the tip of a peg to add on some fine motor hand strengthening too. I then had my daughter place the correct number of eggs into the basket. We used cotton balls as “eggs.”

Children will work on counting, math, literacy, and fine motor skills.

3. Uppercase to Lowercase Alphabet Matching Hay Bales – The farmyard takes a lot of work, and the animals need some help. Match the uppercase and lowercase hay bales to help the animals get things moving along.

4. Farm Measurement – These animals are growing. Use a tool of your choice to measure the animals. You can use counting cubes, measuring worms, candy corn pieces, mini erasers, and more.

5. The Duck Pond

Use the duck pond and the ducks in the pond counting cards to add the correct number of ducks to the pond. You can use the paper ducks I included or use rubber ducks like I did below.

While you’re at it, now is a good time to sing and do some Five Little Ducks Song Activities. They are the perfect addition to these farm activities for preschool.
