Dive Into Shark Fun with Free Printables!
One of the best hacks that I’ve learned as a homeschool mom is to gather freebies for fun learning themes.
As much as I love to try new activities with my boys, our homeschool budget only goes so far. Free printables (like these amazing shark ones!) make it possible to enjoy a variety of games, puzzles, and crafts without breaking the bank. It’s also why I make and share so many freebies in our VIP Resource Library with subscribers to Rock Your Homeschool!
For several years, my boys and I have celebrated Shark Week (starting July 7 for 2024). Our family schedule doesn’t always allow us to join the celebration on the Discovery Channel exactly on the dates. But, we catch up when we can and set aside time to learn more about these fascinating underwater creatures.
We’ve had a blast with these super cool shark crafts. I knew that we needed to add MORE shark printables for kids to our fun collection. I looked for the best freebies that I could find and I’m so excited to share them with you!
Recommended Materials for Enjoying These Shark Activities
When enjoying a printable activity with kids, I’ve found that it’s incredibly helpful to have all of the materials that we’ll need prepared before we start. My stress level goes down and we’re able to get a great start to the whole experience.
With printables, you usually don’t need too many supplies. But, a few of these shark freebies do have some specific materials that I wanted you to be ware of (plus some general reminders of fantastic supplies to have available):

- White cardstock
- Scissors
- Clipboard (we LOVE these clipboards!)
- Coloring tools (crayons, color pencils, fine-tip markers, gel pens)
