Secor Farms in Mahwah
Stop in to pick your own pumpkins with the kiddos at Secor Farms in Bergen County. Kids will love the petting zoo here as well as the hay maze. They sell seasonal decor as well as apples, cider, and homemade donuts.
Public hayrides don’t require a reservation on weekdays, but they do on weekends. Picking season starts mid September, and runs until Halloween. Visit weekdays from 3pm – 5pm, and weekends from 10am – 4pm.

Demarest Farm in Hillsdale
Demarest Farm offers a season a little bit longer than some of other locations. Running from the end of September through November, the fields here also you to pick pumpkins and apples daily. They also have a petting zoo, hay rides, and even a Halloween Light Show!
You do need to head to the farm’s website to make a reservation before you visit. The farm is open from 8AM – 4:30PM weekends as well as Thursday and Friday from 3 – 4:30PM.

Abma’s Farm in Wykoff
From the end of September through the first weekend in November, Abma’s Farm offers pick-your-own pumpkins as well as hayrides to the patch. Several packages are available to meet your needs including a public hayride and barnyard package, a private hayride and barnyard package and a school/group package.
Your kids will want to visit the petting zoo where they can feed goats, sheep, cows, alpaca, and bunnies. There are also pony rides for the little ones.
Purchase hayride tickets online before your visit for everyone over the age of two, (you’ll need a ride, the field is not reachable by foot). Tickets include round-trip hayride, pumpkin patch admission, small pumpkin, and petting zoo admission for $21.

Fairfield Farms and Greenhouses in Fairfield
Visit from the third week of September through the month of October, head to Fairfield Farms and take a hayride with the family to gather pumpkins. Hayrides start at 1PM and end at 5:30PM on weekdays. Weekends they run from 9:30AM – 6PM.
You may also take purchase someJersey-fresh produce, snacks and seasonal decor for fall. Hayrides, pumpkin picking, corn maze, Big Bale Mountain, rope maze, the Rolling Tube Ride, and pumpkin slingshot add to the fun here, as well as the Spooky Trail hayride at night. Fall Festival admission is $15 and evening hayrides are $15. Both can be reserved online.

Alstede Farms in Chester
Alstede Farms is a great place to gather the perfect fall produce and flowers to make your home beautiful. Pick-Your-Own Entry Tickets should be purchased ahead of time and include a specific container that you must put your picked goodies in. Entry tickets purchased at the farm will cost $8 more.
Your entry ticket includes access to our pick your own areas with an associated container, the cost of the produce to fill said containers, scenic hay wagon rides around the farm, and access to the hay pyramid, corn maze, evergreen maze, and blooming giants sunflower trail is also included with your entry ticket.
The farm also has animals to pet, pony rides, a bouncy house, wagon train rides, live music on weekends, wine and hard cider tastings and hot food and sweets.
Each ticket for a pumpkin is equal to a credit of $7.99 which will be applied at checkout. Pick-your-own hours are weekdays: 11AM – 3PM, and weekends and holidays from 10AM – 4PM.

Hacklebarney Farms is a pretty farm is open for PYO pumpkins Thursday through Sundays from 10am-5pm, and the season runs from September 21st through the end of October. There is no entry fee!
Don’t miss their cider, cider dogs, cider donuts, cider floats, pies, and baked goods, as well as gifts and decor and activities like their corn maze. Some of the best views in the area are here to enjoy so be sure to relax and take it all in.

Stony Hill Farms in Chester
Fall brings the fun of a giant corn maze, rides, games, a play area and large variety of activities for all ages to Stony Hill Farms. Tickets are available online and there are a few different options depending what you want to do.
There are hayrides, a playground, a giant corn maze, a rope maze, trike racing, apple cannon, gemstone mining, pick your own apples and veggies, and of course, plenty of pumpkins.
The picking season opens Labor Day weekend and runs through November 3rd, 2024. PYO fields are open from 10AM – 5PM. Walk to the pumpkin fields or pick from the selection at the farm market.

Heaven Hill Farm in Vernon Township
Maker it a point to visit Heaven Hill Farm for the Great Pumpkin Festival September 14 – November 3, 2024. Over 35 activities are included in your purchase price which does vary by day. Be sure to purchase in advance online to save $4 – $5 per ticket.
Additional attractions like the apple cannon, paintball, gem mining, pony rides, and wine tasting are available for an additional fee. Live entertainment starts at noon and there;’s a stunt dog show as well as tons of things to see and do.
Hayrides to the pick-your-own fields run every weekend, Columbus Day and every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in October from 12pm-5pm. Children ages two and under are always free.

Stop in Lentini Farms for fall fun from September 13 through October 27, 2024. Once again they will have a different live band and food trucks each weekend along with a corn maze, scenic hayrides and a sunflower field.
Enjoy farmstands, fall family activities, fire pits, haunted hayrides, farm animals, and wholesale produce here as well. The PYO hours are Friday 6PM – 10PM, Saturday 10AM – 10PM, and Sunday 10AM – 5PM. Haunted hayrides are on Friday and Saturday nights from 7 – 10PM.

Conklin Farm in Montville
The fun begins at Conklin Farm at the end of September and continues through Halloween. Pick pumpkins of all sizes and shapes or visit the barn store for the best painted pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn, jams and other items. Orchard fresh apples, fresh apple cider, corn stalks, straw bales, and mums.
Stop in from 12 – 6PM weekdays (closed Mondays) and 10AM – 6PM on weekends/holidays. Hayrides are on weekends only, and haunted hayrides (recommended for ages 10 and over) are optional on weekends as well.

Every weekend through October, Richfield Farms gives you the opportunity to pick pumpkins at this complete garden center just off of the Green State Parkway. Visit weekdays and Saturdays from 8am-6pm, Sunday from 9am-5pm.
Fresh local and organic produce, seasonal gift shop and special events make this a great place to visit. They also hold a Harvest Fest in October with live music and fun games and activities for the whole family.

Schaefer Farms in Flemington
Schaefer Farms has been a member of the farming community for four generations. Families are encouraged to hop on a scenic hayride to their 40+ acres of home grown pumpkins. Pumpkin patch season begins the last weekend in September and runs every weekend in October from 11AM – 4PM.
Children under eight ride free as do veterans, The entrance fee gives you access to the hayride to 40 acres of pumpkins, corn maze, hay maze, and an option to feed the farm animals. Children under eight ride for free, as do veterans. The farm stand here is also filled with mums, fall decorations, cider, fresh baked pies, breads and goodies.
Farm Of Horrors runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday Night in October. It includes the Trail of Terror, Hayride of Horror, Massacre Maize, and Carnevil of Chaos. Obviously, this event is better for older kids who love a good scare.

Melick’s Town Farm in Califon
New Jersey’s largest apple orchard is a great place enjoy some fall fun! Pick apples and pumpkins, enjoy tractor wagon rides on weekends, play on the tractor tire playground, do the corn maze, see cute goats, picnic, enjoy fresh baked goods, and see 200 acres of working farm land at Melick’s Town Farm.
Online reservation are encouraged. Picking is open from 9am-6pm daily into November with the last entry at 5pm. Entry is just $4 during the week and $6 on weekends.
Oasis Family Farm in Robbinsville
The end of September brings the opening of fall fun to Oasis Family Farm and it continues through the end of October. Come delight in this incredibly kid-friendly farm which has a Little Kids Monster Trail, the FunZone and gem mining, and fossil adventure which keep the smaller children occupied with fun while adults can delight in cider donuts and sunflower cutting .
Of course there are also wagon rides and the pumpkin patch. The patch is open Monday through Friday from 11AM – 4PM but the additional fun is only on weekends when the farm is open from 10AM – 5PM. Admission is $15 per child and $8 per adult.

In the autumn, Terhune Orchards hosts the Fall Family Festival on weekends. Remember to buy tickets online as there are no walk-ins. There will be hay bale & corn mazes, pony rides, ascavenger hunt, pedal tractors, and farm animals. There is even wine tasting at the onsite winery!
Beginning mid September through the end of October celebrate fall with apple picking, flower picking and pumpkin picking which is available daily. Open daily from 9AM – 5PM.

Hop on hayrides, do pumpkin picking, and more at Norz Hill Farm’s Fall Harvest Day. Visit horses, alpaca, sheep, donkeys, goats, pigs, bunnies, emus, and even a zonkey! During the weekend evenings the farms transforms into a Scare Farm with a haunted hayride and two scary walking trails.

Bullock Farms in Cream Ridge
Mid September through the end of October bring families the opportunity to visit all the fun at Bullock Farms. Hayrides here are 25 minutes long and amble thought he picturesque farm. They bring you to the pumpkin field where you can pick all you need for fall as well as gourds and ornamental squash. Look for scarecrows, ghosts and witches along the ride.
The Bullock Barnyard offers fun for littles including a corn crib sand box, a straw mountain they can climb, and a kids maze. Visit donkeys, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, and ducks as well as the six-acre corn maze.

The corn maze and hayrides begin mid September at R and J Farm and running through the end of October. Take a hayride to the pumpkin patch and enjoy the scenery. When you get to the patch you can pick your perfect small-sized pumpkin to take home. The hayride includes the small pumpkin. There is also a jump pad to bounce away on and a corn maze to explore.

Hayrides and PYO pumpkins await visitors to Johnson Corner Farm. Make time to do the corn maze or sunflower stroll. There is also live music, lots of food, gem mining, an animal barn, and duck races.
Hayrides run from 10AM-5PM, weekdays, weekends and holidays. Reservations are strongly encouraged because the hayrides do sell out and online purchases come with a discount! The season runs September 7 through Halloween.

The season for pick-your-own pumpkins at Duffield’s Farm Market runs from late September through the first week of November. There are also hayrides, hot apple cider, and donuts awaiting your visit. On Saturdays there is a corn maze, pony rides, face painting, and live music.

Pick Your Own hours here are Monday through Saturday from 8AM – 5PM. On October Fridays, the hayrides run at 1PM, 2PM, 3PM and 4PM. On October Saturdays, they run from 11AM – 4PM every 20 minutes. Ride out, get a great-looking pumpkin for your porch or for carving and head back happy.
