These letter-tracing task cards are so easy to prep! Just print the pages and cut the ice cream cards apart. Then, laminate them so students can use dry-erase markers to practice writing. Or you could keep four cards to a page and slide them into a write-and-wipe pocket for even quicker prep.

Supplies Needed:

- Dry erase markers
- Write and wipe pockets
Directions:
- Print the ice cream letter tracing cards.
- Cut the cards and laminate them, or slide a whole sheet into write and wipe pockets for even quicker prep.
- Gather dry-erase markers and store everything in a photo box or a zippered mesh bag for easy access.
Utilizing the Alphabet Letter Formation Activity
These ice cream cards are very simple to use. Students will take a card from the pile and trace the uppercase and lowercase letters on the card. If you would like them to work on letter sounds, they can say the name of the word pictured and try to isolate the beginning letter sound.
Each card features a picture that is easy to identify and gives the child another tool to use to remember the sound the letter makes. Example: a, /a/, apple.
More Ways to Use the Ice Cream Alphabet Cards
