Using this Fall Number Hunt Activity
This activity is super simple for students to use. They will walk around the room looking for the ten-frame or twenty-frame cards. Once they find a card, they will subitize or count the acorns in the ten-frame. They will color the matching acorn with the numeral on it and move on to looking for the other ten-frame cards.
This tool is excellent for an early childhood classroom because students can practice numbers 0-20. Counting practice tasks is essential in the early years, so giving students fun, engaging ways to develop these skills is crucial. This one has the added benefit of getting them up and moving as well.
