We’ve made everything from popsicle stick dolls to popsicle stick bookmarks and dozens of popsicle stick Christmas ornaments.

Popsicle Stick Crafts for Kids

The fact that you can decorate popsicle sticks in so many ways, i.e. with paint, markers, chalk markers, fabric and yarn, is a huge bonus.

Popsicle sticks come in a variety of sizes too, which is great. We generally use regular and jumbo size for our popsicle stick crafts. They’re really affordable too.

Where to buy Popsicle Sticks

You can buy popsicle sticks in bulk for just a few dollars at most craft stores like Michaels or Hobby Lobby or in the craft section at Walmart or the Dollar Store.

Craft sticks in unusual colours, shapes and sizes can be purchased on Amazon.

From ballerinas to ninjas to Santa and his helpers, you’ll never run out of quick and easy craft ideas for the kids once you’ve seen this collection.

Ok.  The cuteness here is just too much.  I had the boys in mind when I thought up these Popsicle Stick Ninja ornaments.

Starbucks Stir Stick Snowflakes. These soft and fuzzy woven snowflakes are beyond cute with their sparkly gems and jewels.

We didn’t use actual popsicle sticks for these, but you could. We used long, thin stir sticks that I picked up when I was at Starbucks. The 8 and 9 year olds made these ones, and they loved the process.
