How to Make the Cardboard Stars Christmas Ornaments
What you need:
- cardboard
- pencil
- scissors
- glue
- white liner
- black liner
- piece of yarn
Step by Step Tutorial
Grab a piece of cardboard and have the kids draw a star shape with a pencil.

If working with younger kids, it can be helpful to trace the lines with a black marker so they will find it easier to follow the lines when cutting.
Carefully cut out the star shape.
Next, you’ll need a white liner or a chalk liner.
Start drawing patterns and details on the cardboard stars.
They are starting to look good enough to eat.
Now, to turn them into ornaments. Take a piece of yarn and tie the ends together.
Attach a loop of yarn to the back of their stars.
Once the first one is done, you and your kids will be asking to make more.
