Supplies Needed

  • Printable fairy house designs – get them emailed to you at the bottom of this post
  • Scissors
  • Markers – or crayons, or colored pencils, for coloring in the houses
  • Glue – white glue, glue stick, or hot glue gun (used with assistance)

How to Make Paper Fairy Houses

1. Print the fairy house designs.

Download and print out the printable fairy house designs, you can get them emailed to you at the bottom of the post.

2. Color in the houses.

Use markers, crayons, or colored pencils to color in the designs.

3. Cut out the houses.

Use scissors to cut out the walls and roofs for each fairy house.

4. Fold the flaps.

Fold the paper flaps along the edges of the houses so that the flaps are folded to the back/uncolored side of the paper.

5. Assemble the houses.

Apply glue to the flaps on the house walls and press to the opposite edge of the paper, forming the house.

For the houses with round roofs, apply glue to one edge of the triangle-shaped cut-out, and gently roll the roof to form a cone.

Apply glue to the top flaps and attach the roof on top. For the round roof design, hot glue is recommended.
