Make a bunch so you have them handy when you’re giving gifts to friends, neighbours, teachers etc. A homemade card is a thoughtful touch, especially when it’s as cute as these ones are.

How to Make a Button Snowman Christmas Card
- Build your Button Snowman
Select 3 white or cream coloured buttons for your snowman – large for the snowman’s bottom, medium for the middle and small for the snowman’s head.
Glue the buttons in place on your card, leaving a gap between the middle button and the head. This will be where you glue your snowman’s scarf.
Tip: Position your buttons so the button holes look like your snowman’s buttons and eyes.
- Add a Scarf or Bow
For the scarf, simply glue a piece of fabric or decorative trim between the top and middle button.
If you’re making a bow, tie your bow first with a piece of ribbon and glue that between the top two buttons.
- Write on Your Card
Write your message and sign your card, and pop it into an envelope.
I hope you have as much fun making these cards as I do. A word of warning: they’re a little addictive to make, but that’s ok. If you make too many for this year, you can stash them away to use next year. 🙂
