This simple paper plate craft for kids only uses a few materials. The finished tri-color product is cute and has terrific textures.

- Tissue paper in white, orange, and yellow

How to Make This Candy Corn Paper Plate Craft

Prepare tissue paper
Cut the tissue paper into strips. Cut the trips into squares.
Tip: Stack the strips of tissue paper before cutting to save time!

Cut the paper plate
Cut the paper plate into triangle shapes.
If you’re struggling to get good triangle shapes, cut the plate in half. The, cut the halves in half. Cut the quarter plate pieces in half one more time for eight even triangles.
Or just have a variety of triangle shapes!

Crumble tissue paper squares
Organize the tissue paper squares by color (orange, white, and yellow).
Crumble up the tissue paper squares.

Apply tissue paper squares
Start gluing the yellow tissue paper on top (base of candy corn), then the orange, and then the yellow for a tri-color effect.
