How to Make the Paper Weaving Owl Craft
What you need:
Step by Step Tutorial
Begin by printing the owl template.
Cut out the owl outline.
Fold along the horizontal dashed line.
Make incisions along the dashed lines.
Cut out paper strips in one or more colors.
Apply glue to one end of the strip.
Slide the glued end of the strip into the first incision and secure it with glue. Now, you’re ready to start weaving!
Weave the first strip under and over the slits.
Go to the end of the row, then secure it with glue.
Slide another strip in a different color and weave it in the opposite order as you did the first one.
You can already see the mosaic pattern forming.
Continue adding more colorful strips, weaving them, and watch your owl come to life with a beautiful array of colors.
