These rhyming robots are perfect for your pocket chart, but you can use them on a table, too! I wanted to make something eye-catching for my students to get them to engage more with our pocket chart, and this printable rhyme-matching activity is perfect. Rhyming is an important skill for literacy because it is a playful way for children to start manipulating and segmenting sounds within words. Find more rhyming ideas for preschoolers here!

After printing out the robots, cut out and laminate.
When laminating the matching rhyming squares, make sure to leave space under each one, a lot of space because this extra laminate will hold the picture up high enough to cover the other rhyme on the robot’s belly.

See how the extra clear lamination under the picture makes it tall enough to match the right spot?

I just think these robots are the cutest! Your students will love this printable rhyming game for your pocket chart!
