Craft time has been one of my favorite things to do with my boys. It’s an amazing way to build skills (like fine motor) and spend quality time together. Plus, crafts make it celebrating holidays, seasons, and fun days even more exciting!
Another benefit of crafts is that you don’t have to spend a ton of money. I have a big stash of recyclable items (like empty toilet paper and paper towel tubes, boxes, and scraps of paper). Plus, tissue paper, popsicle sticks, paper plates, and perler beads can be cheaply purchased.
When I was recreating and sharing our popsicle stick scarecrow craft, I remembered a bunch of scarecrow crafts that my boys had such fun making. I collected those ideas to share them here with you.

Ideas for Using This DIY Crafts
Need some inspiration for how to display your scarecrow crafts? No worries! I’ve got some ideas that you can use to show off all that hard work that you’re students have done.
First, consider the craft. A hanging craft can be placed in your homeschool area, classroom wall, or door. Other great places to display your hanging scarecrow crafts include windows and refrigerator.
If the scarecrow craft has a 3D effect (like the mason jar idea), place the craft on a fire place mantle, shelf, desk, or table. Determine if you can include it in an autumn centerpiece.
Some of these crafts can be transformed into magnets by placing magnetic squares or tape on the back.
I encourage you to think outside the box. Oh, and get your kids involved! I’m sure they’ll have wonderful ideas for how to display their scarecrow crafts.
