The scenic Black Island Farm has been hosting Utah families every fall for over 15 years. Come out to experience a fabulous fall activity and find your perfect pumpkin.

A hay ride brings families through a sunflower-lined pumpkin patch where rows of on-the-vine pumpkins await your inspection.

In the courtyard, take a ride on the cow train or slide down the giant slide. You won’t want to miss the pig races or delicious concessions. 

Then get lost in the 16 acre corn maze, or come after 7pm to meet some spooky characters in the Haunted Corn Maze (not recommended for children under 12).

Festival pricing starts at $11 for kids, $14 for adults. The farm opens for the season on September 20th.

The pumpkins are ready for picking at Pack Farms Pumpkin Patch. Grab a cart and head out to the patch to find a big, bright pumpkin to bring home. 

Pack Farms also provides farm activities for your family to enjoy at a low price. Grab a friend to play giant connect four or corn hole. Or climb the hay pyramid to slide down the big PVC roller slide. You’ll also love getting lost in the hay maze.

Entrance admission for the farm activities cost $5 per person, three years and under are free. During the season the farm is open every day from 10am to 8pm, except Sunday. This year they will stay open on Fridays and Saturdays until 11pm.

3. Ferry’s Pumpkin Patch

Ferry’s has not yet updated their website for 2024.

Stop by Ferry’s Pumpkin Patch for affordable fall fun. At only $5 per person, this is one of the best priced pumpkin patches in Utah.

Take advantage of cute photo ops before finding a perfect pumpkin. Pumpkin prices range from $1-$8.

Afterward, climb the straw pyramid or wind through the straw maze. Kids always love playing in the corn pits and using the sling shot. This year, Ferry’s is offering a family-friendly corn maze, too.

The farm is open every afternoon, except Sundays.

Pick your pumpkin straight from the patch at Little Bear Bottoms Corn Maze. Plenty of sizes and varieties cover the ground. Prices range from $2-$15. The corn maze is already open through November 2nd and the Haunted River and Spooky Barn Ride open September 27th.

As the name suggests, the corn maze here is the main attraction. The twists and turns offer a fun challenge while admission supports local farmers.

Maze admission also includes the Giant Straw Fort. Climb over, around, and through stacked bales of hay.

On weekends after dark, test your bravery on the Haunted River Trail. Creepy trees and dark tunnels along the trail scare and excite visitors. Beware of mad farmers and creatures of the night.

If that sounds a little too spooky for you, don’t worry. On Saturdays from 12 – 5 PM you can visit the Not-So-Scary Haunted River Trail, without the extra spooks.

Another fun attraction for the family is the Spooky Barn Ride. A 30-minute narrated wagon ride takes passengers through the decorated cornfield and barn. Listen to silly spooky stories and watch out for sneaky scarecrows.

Although Thanksgiving Point is great any season, you won’t want to miss their fall attraction, Cornbelly’s. Over 55 rides, games, photo ops, and haunted horrors make this one of the most popular pumpkin patches in Utah. The fun starts October 1st.

Try your navigating skills in Utah’s original corn maze. Then let the kids play on some of the farm-themed playgrounds while you snack on some of Cornbelly’s signature foods like kettle corn. 

Families love playing games like mini golf and corn hole together. And carnival-style rides offer mild thrills for an extra fee. 

Or get some major thrills by visiting in the evening when the park transforms into Insanity Point Haunt. Costumed actors roam the ground ready to frighten passersby. This experience is not recommended for kids under 12.

And of course, there are a variety of pumpkins are available for purchase. These are located near the exit so you can actually come just for the pumpkins without paying admission for the event. 

Prices for Cornbelly’s start at $19.99 for weekdays, $25.99 for weekends. Insanity Point Haunt takes place Monday, Friday, and Saturday evening with prices starting at $35.99. Check out their new Spanish Fork location as well.

Pumpkin Days at Wheeler Farms provides a family-friendly Halloween experience. Find your ideal pumpkin and enjoy some classic farm fun. This is a great spot to visit with young kids. Pumpkin Days start September 27th.

After choosing a pumpkin, kids love wandering through the straw maze or jumping into the corn pit. And the pedal tractors are always a big hit.

Admission includes the hay maze, play zone, and one ride on the cow train or wagon. Tickets cost $12 per person over two years old. Tuesday admission is just $10.

It feels like autumn at Hee Haw Farms. Bask in the beautiful fall weather while entertaining your family with farm-themed activities. Fall activities run from September 27th through November 2nd.

Hop on a hayride to the pumpkin patch before trying your skills in the corn maze. Then stay to visit the animals at the petting zoo, ride the zipline, or just play in the corn box.

Come see the variety of fresh picked pumpkins and squash at Beck Family Farms. In addition to a jack-o-lantern pumpkin, you might want to grab a few other beautiful and colorful varieties of pumpkins to decorate with.

Stop by the market to grab some other farm fresh produce. Or grab their homemade jellies, jams, fudge, and cookies. 

Looking for a little Halloween fun at a great price? The annual Wild Pumpkin Adventure Maze leads explorers through stacked straw bales. Wristbands for the maze cost $8, or $4 for children 2 – 8.. You can also purchase a $10 punch pass which includes entrance to the pumpkin adventure and the petting zoo.

Another one of the awesome pumpkin patches in Utah is the Bluebell Corn Maze. Of course you’ll find an exciting corn maze here, but that is just the beginning.

Head out to the pumpkin patch on the Pumpkin Wagon (included with purchase of a pumpkin). In the patch you can cut a pumpkin right off the vine. 

Then play around the farm on super slides, bounce pads, corn bin, and rock walls. Families can also feed the goats or play some games together.

Kiddos might want to warm up their navigating skills in the Kiddie Hay Maze before trying the more difficult corn maze. But don’t worry, this maze features two phases; one that’s perfect for kids.

This year they will also have stomp lights which are giant circles that light up when you jump on them, sure to be a hit with the little ones. And you definitely don’t want to miss saying hello to “Mazie the Unicorn”.

Dad won’t want to miss Big Bertha, a pumpkin cannon that can shoot pumpkins a quarter mile!

When the sky turns dark, Creep Farm, the haunted corn maze, begins. Prepare to be scared!

Prices start at $14 for adult general admission and $12 for ages 4 – 10. For a small additional fee, other activities such as the train ride and story time are available. Corn mazes, hayrides, and pig races beckon visitors to Cross E Ranch ‘s annual Fall Festival. This working cattle ranch knows how to celebrate the season right.

On top of those previous mentioned activities, families glide across ziplines, bounce on jumping pads, zoom down mega slides, and much more. 

The pumpkin patch features a variety of multihued pumpkin, squash, and gourds to choose from. Choose one for carving, eating, or just decorating.

And come hungry! Fall treats such as apple cider donuts and fresh roasted nuts are available. And the Cross E Grill serves up ranch favorites like pulled pork sandwiches and hand dipped corn dogs.

Admission prices start at $15.95 and include all the games and activities except face painting and pony rides. Prices due vary by date. The farm is closed on Sunday. You must purchase your tickets online for dates between September 20th – October 30th, 2024.

11. Heber Valley Railroad Pumpkin Train

All aboard the Pumpkin Train! Heber Valley Railroad hosts the only pumpkin patch attraction in Utah on an actual train.

During the 40-minute train ride in a historic coach car, hosts entertain passengers and serve them a scrumptious pumpkin cookie. Each person gets to select a pumpkin from the patch to take home.

The ride costs $15 per person and includes the pumpkin. Children 2 and under can ride for $4 with included pumpkin, or free without a pumpkin. Purchase tickets early because they sell out quickly. Train dates are October 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th for the 2024 season.

Whether you are looking for family-fun or thrills you’ll find it at Kuwahara’s Pumpkin Patch and Thriller Park

The pumpkin patch provides a perfect backdrop for fall pictures. Snap a few in front of the famous pumpkin walls before deciding which pumpkins to bring home.

For the younger kids, play in the bounce houses, adventure maze, and Halloween Village. The $5 Pumpkin Patch admission price goes toward your pumpkin purchases when you visit Monday-Thursday (but not Friday & Saturday).

Come back in the evening to experience Thriller Park. Try out the corn maze, haunted house, and carnival games. Frighteningly fantastic performances occur nightly from 6pm to close.

Start your visit in the “Corn Maize”. Then check out over 30 attractions in Farmland including duck races, photo ops, and a petting zoo. 

After dusk take the kids down the Trick-or-Treat Trail. After exploring the kid-friendly Haunted Shack and taking a quick photo with the witches, knock on the door to the Witch Hut to trick or treat and get a peek inside.  

The Pumpkin Patch provides the perfect backdrop for adorable fall photos. Coming early in the season ensures plenty of pumpkin options fresh from the vine. Later in the season you can still visit the patch, but pumpkins are usually all pre-cut. 

The most popular attraction here is the Field of Screams. Scary scenes and experiences wait inside this creepy corn maze. Not recommended for children under 12. This place only on select days during October.

General admission includes the Corn Maize, Farmland, Trick-or-Treat Trail, and Pumpkin Patch. The Field of Screams haunted attractions have an additional cost with an option to add the corn maze at a discounted price. You can purchase your tickets online, the farm and maze are open starting September 20th.
