Many Brisbane families light up their houses at Christmas but a select few go above and beyond, and we would like to highlight these displays so our loyal followers can go and see what all the fuss is about.
Our curated list of Brisbane’s top Christmas lights represents the pinnacle of festive brilliance, chosen for their extraordinary creativity, community spirit, and sheer visual impact, guaranteed to put a smile on everyone’s faces.
Displays are generally on nightly at the specified times, though weather and personal circumstances may affect this. Please be respectful of the owners decisions. A lot of effort and money goes into these displays. Happy light hunting.
Brisbane’s Most Spectacular Christmas Lights
Without further ado, please enjoy our personal favourites and the most spectacular (in our opinion) Christmas Lights in Brisbane for 2024 (in no particular order).
86 College Way, Boondall
With the rise of synchronised displays, combining music and lights, College Way Lights stands out from the crowd, bringing video into the mix as well. When energetic visitors aren’t marvelling at the sheer brilliance of this display, they can put on their dancing shoes and jive the night away on the driveway dance floor, even voting for the next song by QR code.
Lights on until the 1st January 2025, 6.30pm – 10.30pm.
3 and 5 Stockport Court, Burpengary East
Get more bang for you buck when you visit these two wonderful displays side-by-side in Stockport Court. With a great range of inflatables including a massive reindeer, dinosaurs and an Aussie Santa in thongs, there is plenty to see and take photos of here.
Lights on until the 1st January 2025, 6pm – 10.30pm.
211 Benhiam Street, Calamvale
The Durros’ Christmas lights are back and are as popular as ever! A phenomenal immersive display with a 30m long driveway leading to the main house display (walk down, DON’T drive). The display has something for everyone – dino’s, dragons, a rainbow section, cold weather creatures, Australiana and more. Unique, homemade decorations are featured including neons, presents, Santa Jaws, and a smoke breathing Treezilla.
Lights on until the 27th December 2024, 6.30pm – 10pm (staying on later the week before Christmas).
1 Long Street, Clontarf
Lights on Long Street – the overall winner of the 973 KIISMAS Lights 2024. Featuring snow, a sleigh, Bluey characters, projections and so much more. Lots of photo ops too. This one is well worth the visit on the northside of Brisbane.
Lights on until the 24th December 2024, 7pm – 10pm.
21 Hillier Court, Flinders View
Have you visited the multi award-winning Hillier Court Christmas Lights? If not, park the car and go for a walk! This interactive display has several photo opportunities including a sit-in sleigh behind a puffing steam train and a walk-through gingerbread house in a gingerbread village.
There is even a scavenger hunt. Christmas carols play while bubbles fill the air. You may even see an elf about on weekends!
Lights on until the 26th December 2024, 7pm – 10pm.
48 Daisy Street, Grange
A northside favourite for many years, Lights on Daisy have taken the festive spirit to new heights in 2024. They are now the proud owners of a new Frozen-themed display (purchased from the poplar Karalee Street display). Visitors can step into a winter wonderland inspired by the beloved Disney movie, featuring sparkling snowflakes, shimmering icicles, and the enchanting glow of Elsa’s throne, along with a massive sleigh for the perfect photo op.
As you stroll through, you’ll encounter twinkling lights and a selection of inflatables including a giant Olaf. There are lots of photo ops including a traditional sleigh and throne and scenes of holiday cheer, including some Aussie inspired friends and a giant Santa on the roof.

6 Rise Place, Heathwood

Lights on Rise Place is a walk-thru display featuring 40 000 LED’s, a canopy of twinkly lights, firework lights and large inflatables . Visit the 6m Santa, 5m reindeer, 4m tree, and the 4m nutcracker. You can also find Bingo and Bluey and a gingerbread house.
Large 3D light structures are a hit with families for Christmas photos – including a teddy bear, reindeer wombat, Christmas train, tree arch, forest of LED trees, snowman family, reindeer cut outs, and twinkly fairy wings.
There will be bubbles galore and a smoke machine to add that extra bit of magic.
Lights on until 26th December 2024, 6.45pm – 10pm.
2 Brochet Street, Mansfield
If you loved the display at Keeling Street, Coopers Plains in previous years, you will adore Lehmann’s Holiday Magic in Mansfield. Visitors are greeted with a symphony of lights, creating a magical ambiance. There are plenty of photo opportunities and lots of lights. There are Disney characters, teddy bears, Christmas trees, reindeer and sleigh, and even a giraffe. What else will you be able to find among this spectacular display?

Bendee Court, Narangba
A visit to Bendee Court Christmas in Narangba is a real family outing. Park the car nearby and wander around checking out the magnificent displays. Many houses are decorated with lights, inflatables and unique Christmas decoration, often handing out candy canes too!
Lights on until the 25th December 2024, 6.30pm – 10pm.
27 Minimine Street, Stafford
The Minimine Street Christmas Lights are back for 2024, and are brighter, shinier, and more magical than ever! This year there is dazzling programmable lights that twinkle and dance in perfect harmony, plus a brand-new wave wall for Surfing Santa, perfect for snapping the ultimate “Elfie.”
From December 15, Frosty the Snowman will host his nightly 7:30pm snow parties. Come for the sparkle, stay for the magic.

19 Nemarra Street, Wynnum West
They don’t call themselves GIANTS ON THE HILL for nothing!! The proud home of the largest Inflatable Santa in Australia this display also features more than 100,000 dazzling lights, lasers, snow machines, bubble machines, synchronised lights and a 10m twinkling light tree. Special guest appearances from The Grinch and Santa will be popular.

While we have selected these few displays as the best, that is not to say there aren’t other marvellous and equally impressive lights just around the corner. Your job now is to find them (and then let us know so we can visit too).
