How to Make a Turkey in Disguise Unicorn
1. Color in the turkey.
Get the disguise a turkey template.
Use markers, crayons, colored pencils, or paint to color in the turkey’s tail feathers. We used shades of pink, turquoise, pink, and purple for a magical unicorn feel.
Color the top of the turkey head if you want to make the turkey a specific color, otherwise leave it white for a white unicorn.
2. Cut out the shapes.
Download and print out the unicorn turkey template, found at the bottom of the post.
Trace the shapes onto colored paper and cut out. We used glitter paper for the body, hooves and horn.
3. Glue down the unicorn body.
Use a glue stick to attach the unicorn body to the turkey.
You can choose to cover the face and add your own or cut the template off to leave the turkey face showing, like the below. If you add the full body to cover the turkey face you can draw on the eyes or glue on googly eyes.
4. Glue on the unicorn mouth.
Cut out the mouth or color it from the template and glue on top of the turkey beak.
Draw on the unicorn nostrils and mouth with a black marker.
5. Glue on the hooves.
Glue the hooves on to the bottom of the unicorn’s legs.
6. Glue on the horn and flowers.
First, glue on the horn. Then add 3 paper flowers cut out from the template. Kids can also color and glue the flowers on from the template.
Then, use glue to add 3 mini pom poms on top of the flowers.
They look so magical and sparkly when they’re done, no one will ever know there’s a turkey underneath!
